God created the sun, moon, and stars as time keepers for
"seasons" (Genesis 1:14-16)
The Greek word (kairos) meaning "set times"
or "seasons" is associated with both the 1st and 2nd comings of Israel's Messiah (Matthew 16:2-3; I Thessalonians 5:1-2)
The Hebrew word (chag) rendered "feast" in Leviticus 23:6 is derived from the Hebrew
word (chagag) rendered "feast" in Exodus 5:1, which means to "move in a circle" in the sense of being
cyclical
These feasts were regularly repeated occurrences as indicated
by the phrases, "throughout your generations" (Leviticus 23:14,21,31) and "for ever in your generations" (Leviticus 23:41)
The place where the Lord shall reign "gloriously"
(Isaiah 24:23) on the "throne of His father David" (Luke 1:32)
who was promised an eternal throne (II Samuel 7:16-17)
