Jesus had two companions in humiliation: one that was lost
and one that was saved (Luke 23:32-33,39-43).
Joseph had two companions in prison: Pharaoh's chief butler who was restored to service and Pharaoh's
chief baker who was hanged (Genesis 40:1-3,20-22).
An object lesson for us regarding faithfulness in the
midst of trial when we suffer at the hands of our spiritual brethren who are "taken captive to do his (Satan's)
will" (II Timothy 2:24-26)
