How isthe Bible DIFFERENT
from all other writings in existence?
The Bible is the ONLY BOOK which tells us the truth about
ourselves in relation to our Creator (Romans
3:10-12 cf. Psalms 14:2-3; 53:2-3)
It tells us that we are members of a FALLEN race (Romans 5:12) and, therefore, in NEED of Divine CLEANSING (Isaiah 6:1-7; Psalms 51:5,7)
It tells us that we CANNOT REDEEM OURSELVES (Romans 5:6) and that GOD ALONE IS THE REDEEMER (Hebrews 9:12 cf. Psalms 19:14)
How canwe be justified before
God?
We cannot bejustified by the Law of God, because the Law makes known our sin(Romans
3:19-20 cf. Deuteronomy 31:26)
The Law, as "the MINISTRATION of DEATH" (II Corinthians 3:7), was FITTINGLY PLACED in the "ARK" (Hebrew,
"ARON"), i.e. in a "COFFIN" (Genesis 50:26)
OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS as demanded by the Law (Deuteronomy 6:25) has been proven to be "UNCLEAN ... AS FILTHY RAGS" (Isaiah 64:6)
We can only bejustified by "the righteousness of God apart from the Law" (Romans 3:21)
"BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST" (Romans 3:22)
"THROUGH the REDEMPTION that is IN CHRIST JESUS"
(Romans 3:24)
"THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD" (Romans 3:25)
GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:26)
bestows upon the believer "the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST" (II Corinthians 5:21)
It is CHRIST "Who was DELIVERED FOR OUR OFFENCES,
and was RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION" (Romans
4:25)
"The gospel ... by which ... ye are saved" (I Corinthians 15:1-2)
"CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES"
(i Corinthians 15:3 cf. Isaiah 53:8)
"CHRIST was BURIED and ROSE AGAIN ... ACCORDING TO
THE SCRIPTURES" (i
Corinthians 15:4 cf. Isaiah 53:9-10)
How isthe Bible to be studied?
The Divinely "approved" method
of Bible "study" is that of "rightly dividing the
Word of Truth" (II
Timothy 2:15)
This DIVISION is BETWEEN "the GOSPEL of the CIRCUMCISION"
that was committed to Peter and "the GOSPEL of the UNCIRCUMCISION" that was committed to Paul (Galatians 2:7)
Thus, this DIVISION is also BETWEEN Peter's "APOSTLESHIP
of the CIRCUMCISION" and Paul's APOSTLESHIP "toward the GENTILES" (Galatians 2:8)
The GENTILES "in time past" were "called
the UNCIRCUMCISION by that which is called the CIRCUMCISION in the FLESH" (Ephesians 2:11 cf. Leviticus 12:1-3)
Peter's APOSTLESHIP and GOSPEL concerning ISRAEL
Peter was the CHIEF APOSTLE (Luke 22:31-34; Acts 1:15; 2:14; 3:12; 4:8; 5:29) of the TWELVE APOSTLES who were promised to "sit upon TWELVE
THRONES judging the TWELVE TRIBES of ISRAEL (Matthew
19:28) in Messiah's EARTHLY kingdom
(Matthew 25:31-32 cf. Daniel 7:13-14)
The GOSPEL concerning ISRAEL was PROPHESIED "SINCE
THE WORLD BEGAN" (Acts
3:21) and featured God's promise
to Abraham that "in THY SEED shall ALL the KINDREDS OF THE EARTH be BLESSED" (Acts 3:25 cf. Genesis 22:18)
Paul's APOSTLESHIP and GOSPEL concerning the GENTILES
Paul, as the "APOSTLE of the GENTILES" (Romans 11:13), was commissioned to announce that "the SALVATION of God is SENT
UNTO THE GENTILES" (Acts
28:28) THROUGH the "STUMBLING"
of ISRAEL (Romans 9:30-33; 11:11-12,15) due to her REJECTING the MESSIAH (Acts 28:25-27)
This GOSPEL concerning the GENTILES was 'KEPT SECRET SINCE
THE WORLD BEGAN" (Romans
16:25) and is, therefore, termed
"the MYSTERY" (Ephesians
3:3)
According to this GOSPEL, the BELIEVING GENTILES and JEWS
Have EQUAL Divine ACCESS (Ephesians 2:18)
Have EQUAL Divine CITIZENSHIP (Ephesians 2:6,19)
Have EQUAL Divine INDWELLING (Ephesians 2:22)
Have EQUAL Divine INHERITANCE (Ephesians 1:3; 3:6)
According to this GOSPEL, God's COVENANT WITH ISRAEL is
ON HOLD TILL AFTER the GENTILE "FULLNESS" (Romans
11:25-29) of the GENTILE "DISPENSATION
of the GRACE of God" (Ephesians
3:1-2)
Is thereany extra Biblical
revelation?
According to the Bible, "ALL SCRIPTURE ... GIVEN
... that the man of God may be PERFECT" (II
Timothy 3:16-17)
This demands that the SCRIPTURE must be "PERFECT",
i.e. "COMPLETE", if so be that it is able to make "the man of God ... THROUGHLY FURNISHED unto all
good works" (II
Timothy 3:17)
Do we needto go to Seminary
to learn the Bible?
God has provided "ELDERS" (Acts 20:17) to "FEED" His blood bought people (Acts 20:28) WITH "the WORD OF His GRACE" (Acts 20:32)
Those who are "STRONG IN the GRACE" (II Timothy 2:1) are exhorted to TEACH "FAITHFUL MEN, WHO shall be able to TEACH
OTHERS ALSO" (II
Timothy 2:2)
