Men should pray with "holy" (kind and gracious)
hands "lifted up" (spread forth) towards God; ones that do NOT harbor "wrath and doubting"
(anger and suspicion) -- (I Timothy 2:8)
God had NO respect towards guilty Israel's prayers whose
hands were covered with the blood of the innocent (Isaiah 1:15)
Women should pray being adorned with modest physical apparel
and with godliness manifested by good works (I Timothy 2:9-10)
God considers NOT a woman's outer corruptible adornments
(fine clothing and jewelry), BUT her inner incorruptible adornment of a "meek and quiet spirit" to be
"of great price" (I Peter 3:3-4)
Just as the woman was the instrument of trangression to
the man (Genesis 3:6), she ALSO was the bearer of the Savior (I Timothy 2:15 cf. Genesis 3:15)
The woman being in subjection to the man (I Timothy 2:11-12)
and the man showing kindness and grace to the woman (I Timothy 2:8) is what allows them both to continue TOGETHER in faith, love, holiness
and sobriety (I Timothy 2:15)
