REJECTED MESSIAH as CREATOR (Matthew 12:2) - "For the SON OF MAN is LORD even of the SABBATH DAY" (Matthew 12:8),
because HE MADE the SABBATH DAY FOR MAN (Mark 2:27-28)
REJECTED MESSIAH as the RESURRECTION LIFE (Matthew 9:24)
- "He went in, and TOOK HER BY THE HAND, and THE MAID AROSE" (Matthew 9:25) - for MESSIAH is "the RESURRECTION LIFE" (John 11:25)
and, therefore, AS the SON - He HAS the SAME LIFE AS the FATHER (John 5:21,26)
MESSIAH SAT "IN A SHIP" while "the WHOLE
MULTITUDE STOOD ON THE SHORE" (Matthew 13:2) - a reflection of the DISTANCE BETWEEN ISRAEL'S RELIGIOUS LEADERS
AND MESSIAH due to THEIR UNBELIEF (Matthew 13:14-15 cf.Matthew 12:38-40)
MESSIAH sends out His TWELVE APOSTLES to ANNOUNCE His
KINGDOM in POWER to ISRAEL (Matthew 10:5-8)
MESSIAH tells His TWELVE APOSTLES that He sends them as
"SHEEP IN THE MIDST OF WOLVES" (Matthew 10:16) and that they would be REJECTED BY ISRAEL (Matthew 10:17 cf.Acts 5:40-41), i.e. "YE SHALL NOT HAVE GONE OVER the cities of ISRAEL, TILL
THE SON OF MAN COME" (Matthew 10:23)
MESSIAH went about "to TEACH and PREACH in their
cities (Matthew 11:1) and He "began to UPBRAID the cities ... because they REPENTED
NOT" (Matthew 11:20)
MESSIAH invites His WEARY LABORERS to "COME UNTO
ME all YE THAT LABOR and ARE HEAVY LADEN, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST" (Matthew 11:28) and so, MESSIAH PUSHES OFF from the shore (Matthew 13:2) and His LABORERS, "the DISCIPLES CAME ... UNTO HIM" (Matthew 13:10)
