"FLESH and BONES" (NO mention of BLOOD) is associated
with INCORRUPTION and the KINGDOM of GOD (I Corinthians 15:50) - BOTH at CREATION (Genesis 2:23) and in RESURRECTION (Luke 24:39)
The BODY that is NOW reflects DISHONOR and is described
as VILE (LOWLY) and is to be CHANGED LATER "like unto HIS GLORIOUS BODY" (Philippians 3:20-21) at "the GLORIOUS APPEARING of the GREAT GOD and our SAVIOR JESUS
CHRIST" (Titus 2:13)
Adam and Eve were CREATED in the LIKENESS of GOD (Genesis 1:26-27)
GOD COVERS HIMSELF "with LIGHT as with a GARMENT"
(Psalms 104:1-2)
BEFORE the FALL - Adam and Eve "were both NAKED ...
and were NOT ASHAMED" (Genesis 2:25), because they were CLOTHED with the LIGHT of GOD, i.e. they possessed
HIS LIKENESS (Genesis 5:1-2)
AFTER the FALL - Adam and Eve "KNEW that they were
NAKED; and they SEWED FIG LEAVES together, and made themselves APRONS" (Genesis 3:7)
to COVER their NAKEDNESS and "HID themselves FROM the PRESENCE of the LORD GOD" (Genesis 3:8)
ONLY LATER - "in the KINGDOM of their FATHER"
- shall "the RIGHTEOUS SHINE forth as the SUN" (Matthew 13:43) and "they that be WISE shall SHINE as the BRIGHTNESS of the FIRMAMENT
... as the STARS for ever and ever" (Daniel 12:3)
The BODIES of BELIEVERS that are NOW are ones of WEAKNESS
and are described as "EARTHEN VESSELS" (II Corinthians 4:7) that are meant to be BROKEN like the PITCHERS carried by Gideon's
army (Judges 7:16,20)
BELIEVERS POSSESS "the LIGHT of the KNOWLEDGE of
the GLORY of GOD" (II Corinthians 4:6) "in EARTHEN VESSELS, that the EXCELLENCY of the POWER may be
OF GOD, and NOT OF US" (II Corinthians 4:7), which is REVEALED by the "BEARING about the DYING of the Lord
Jesus, that the LIFE also of Jesus might be MADE MANIFEST in our BODY" (II Corinthians 4:10)
CHRIST was "CRUCIFIED through WEAKNESS, yet He LIVETH
by the POWER of GOD" (II Corinthians 13:4) and so it is with the BELIEVER who THOUGH "WEAK in Him",
YET also "shall LIVE with Him by the POWER of GOD" (II Corinthians 13:4)
GOD says that "MY STRENGTH is MADE PERFECT in WEAKNESS"
(II Corinthians 12:9) and ONLY the BELIEVER who has LEARNED the SUFFICIENCY of the GRACE
of GOD (II Corinthians 12:9) is ABLE to TESTIFY that "WHEN I am WEAK, THEN am I STRONG"
(II Corinthians 12:10)
It should be every BELIEVER'S DESIRE to KNOW "the
POWER of HIS RESURRECTION" through "the FELLOWSHIP of HIS SUFFERINGS" (Philippians 3:10):
