The perfect (complete) will of God(Romans 12:2)
is to present one's self as a living sacrifice(Romans 12:1)
to the One Who has promised that nothing will separate the believer from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39)
The renewed mind is characterized
by the attitudes described as the "fruit of the Spirit"
(Galatians 5:22-23)
To walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-18) is to trust that the flesh (the old man) has been crucified with Christ
(Romans 6:6-11)
Only with a renewed mind is the believer
able to manifest the Life of Christ(Galatians 2:20)
The life of Christ Who is the Light (John 1:4,6-9)
is He Who produces the "fruit of the Light" in the believer (Ephesians 5:8-10)
The "fruit of the Light" (Ephesians 5:9)
includes having the right attitude (the "fruit of the Spirit" - e.g., "goodness"), doing the
right thing (righteousness) and speaking the truth (Ephesians 4:25)
Note that the word in (Ephesians 5:9) is the Greek word, photos (light) and NOT the Greek word, pneumatos
(Spirit)
