By faithMoses esteemed "... the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures
in Egypt", because "he had respect unto the recompense of the reward" (Hebrews 11:26)
The "tribulation" will be the "fiery trial",
which will prove the faith of the Jewish remnant as "being much more precious than of gold" (I Peter 1:7; I Peter 4:12 cf. Zechariah 13:9)
The faithful Jews who fear the Lord in the Day of the
Lord are spoken of as "His jewels" (Malachi 3:16-17) and will be healed rather than consumed by the "Sun of Righteousness"
(Malachi 4:1-2)
The faithful Jewish "tribulation" remnant are
said to be "rich" (Revelation 2:9-10) concerning the "crown of life", while the others are warned
about being falsely "rich" and counseled to become truly "rich" (Revelation 3:17-18)
At His coming, His reward is with Him (Revelation 22:12)
and will be given to His "servants, prophets and saints" (Revelation 11:18)
It is for the encouragement of the faithful Hebrew remnant
in their enduring "reproaches" and "afflictions" (Hebrews 10:32-33) that the "great cloud of witnesses" of Hebrews 11 (Hebrews 12:1 cf. Hebrews 11:13)
are presented as examples of the patience of faith that "receive the promise", "the great recompense
of the reward" (Hebrews 10:35-36 cf. Hebrews 11:13)

"... the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:18),
